- Well, actually if you listen even more closely the
'scratching' noise you are hearing is actually the muted
picking of the bassline played by the GUITAR. They dont play
it live on the guitar very often because it's difficult,
and near impossible to play and sing at the same, also
slightly unnecessary, it sounds fucking amazing just on the
bass.

the second verse of the bass line you can hear a scratching
noise and this was done because matt decided to play bass
put he used a pick it does add to the song though but not

noticed that it actually has alot more mistakes
(especially from matt) and to be honest I kinda like it, it
makes them all seem more human, cause normally their gigs
are normally more perfect then most other bands studio
