friends back mid 60's/69. They left out the Taveran on the
Green......the boat rental with it's restaurant........ah

thought that would work, Planes cant really descend that
fast because of the high buildings. Second it's illegal to

- i lived all my life in ny. havent got mugged yet, never got
kicked out of resturants, met some wonderful people, seen
hobos only in the subway a couple of times. i ride the
subway almost everyday, nothing happand. LIKE MIND UR

- I've lived here all my life. Bronx, Upper West Side,
Riverside in the 80's and Harlem. I was mugged in the Bronx
had my chain snatched. I was jumped by 5 dudes on the Upper
West Side CPW. Two incidents in 50 years doesn't make it
dangerous. I probably could have walked away but that's not
me. But your right. You go to the right places at the
right time.
- I live in New York for more than ten years on west 57th
street, walk around the southern part of the park day or
night, never had any dangerous situation. As in any
city, it all depends on where you go. Going to the right
places, New York is the best in art, food, shooping,
healthcare, theatre, movies, opera, dancing, fashion,
education; the whole world is at your feet.....I LOOOVE NEW
YORK!!!

- What a dumbass I was in there with my frieand at 12:00 at
night and there was like no one in there but cop cars going
around shut your mouth. Now maybe if you go past 96th
street but not by me.

- I have been in Central Park. It is full of drug dealers and
prostitutes. Women are regularly raped and I was mugged.
Avoid like the plague.

- I visited New York once. It was hot and smoggy. The
pavements were overcrowded with angry people. I was warned
not to travel on the subway. The streets were filthy &
crammed with homeless. All the shops are very expensive
and full of cheap rubbish. The restaurants are dirty & the
food is tasteless. The hotdogs are disgusting & taste of
vomit. My expensive hotel was infested with bedbugs. I
refused to tip & was thrown out of 5 restaurants. I was
mugged 3 times. I am never going back.
